FIRE crews attended a blaze at a scrap yard in Tilbury in the early hours of the morning following a large number of calls from the public.
Six cars were alight at the yard in Hume Avenue by the time firefighters arrived at 3.02am on Monday morning.
Using two main jets, the three crews from Orsett and Grays had the fire surrounded by 3.30am and put out by 3.51am.
