FIRE FIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a car workshop in Grays late last night.
The crews attended the incident at Bill Lock Autos on the Globe Industrial Estate, in Towers Road, just before midnight, where it was reported that the building was 20 percent alight and fully smoke logged.
Using one main jet and two hose reels, the fire was extinguished by 2.45am.
An investigation will be held to establish the cause of the blaze which police say they aren’t treating as suspicious.
In October and December last year, car dealership Mini and Acy Exports, also on the estate, was attacked, destroying 16 vehicles.
The same dealership was targeted again in January, where a further six vehicles were damaged.
