Emergency - fire crews rushed to the scene
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a scrap yard.
Two crews from Grays were called to the fire at a scrap yard in Towers Road, Grays at 7.11am this morning.
On arrival firefighters reported that 20 tonnes of metal was alight and worked quickly to extinguish it by 8.02am.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as accidental.
