POLICE are still seeking information on an attack on two men who are recovering from their injuries after they being assaulted in Grays.
The victims, who are both Polish and aged in their late teens, were walking along New Road in Grays near to a kebab shop when they got into an argument with a two men men.
They were followed by the thugs who later launched a violent attack on them near to the Derby Road railway bridge.
The thugs launched an attack on them using some sort of weapon - which was not seen by the pair - before fleeing.
One of the men was left with wounds to his neck and the other man suffered injuries to his neck and back.
Police have no description of the attackers but are appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer Det Con Nick Phillips of Tilbury CID said: “There was some sort of argument near a kebab shop and the two victims were chased and attacked by two other men.
“We have no further description of the attackers and we are not sure what sort of weaopn was used.”
The attackers ran off in the direction of Sherfield Road or Seabrooke Rise.
