THURROCK is to get a new bus route that will improve links between towns and the borough’s hospitals.
The number 11 bus, which will begin operating on May 10. will connect Purfleet with Basildon Hospital via Aveley, Ockendon, Stifford Clays, Blackshots Lane, Chadwell and Orsett.
The service will be run by Imperial Bus Company on Mondays to Fridays and by Go-Ride on Saturdays.
