TILBURY were made to settle for a share of the spoils as Felixstowe & Walton United came from behind to seal a 1-1 draw.
A David Knight penalty had originally put the Dockers in the driving seat, but Jack Newman ensured Felixstowe would leave Chadfields with a point.
The visitors missed the chance to take an early lead as George Clarke hit wide before Miles Powell struck the crossbar and post.
Tilbury's Knight was also frustrated by the woodwork before the interval, but the Dockers took the lead 11 minutes after the resumption.
Calvin Ekpiteta was brought down by Callum Bennett and the referee pointed to the spot.
Knight confidently dispatched the spot-kick and it looked as though Marc Harrison's Tilbury would double their lead, but goalkeeper Danny Crump made a number of fine saves.
The misses proved costly as Felixstowe drew level with 20 minutes remaining.
Having picked the ball up in plenty of space, Newman picked his spot and netted.
Marlon Agyakwa thought he had sealed a late win with three minutes to play, but the summer signing's effort was ruled out for offside.
