Desmond Thomas Patrick FINNEGAN Aged 55 years. Sadly after three heart attacks, Des was taken from us on the 19th January, 2011. His Wife Sue would like to THANK everyone for their cards, their kind wishes and especially their support. Special thanks to Margaret and Jim for their concern and personal support and regulars at The Whitmore, Orsett, to Brian of West & Coe who organised services and the repatriation of Des to his home town in Ireland for the wake and burial, where there was an outpouring of love, sympathy and respect for Sue, Des and his Family from the whole village. The traditional Irish funeral was uplifting in its manner. The grave was physically prepared by the Brother's of Des. Mary and Billy his parents had an open house as local people poured in to pay their respects and say their last farewells to Des. And finally the Priest and the Bishop layed him to rest. It was an honour to have been part of this traditional ceremony.
