Airlie D. HADLOW (nee Jewell) formerly of South Stifford Died Wednesday, July 8th in San Diego, California after a brave struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Airlie attended the Convent School, Grays, and was the Wife of Michael Hadlow for almost 53 years. They married in 1962 and emigrated to America in 1963 where Airlie became an Executive Secretary at William A.M. Burden, a private investment company. Later , she worked for Granada Television of Great Britain in their New York office. Airlie and Michael have a Daughter, Emily, a Son-in-Law, Christopher Fawcett, and two Grandsons, Jackson and Matthew all of whom Airlie adored. After living in Pennsylvania, New York City, and New Jersey, Airlie and Michael moved to San Diego to be with Emily and her family as the disease progressed. Airlie died peacefully just short of her 73rd Birthday surrounded by her loving family.
