Derek George SUNDBERG The family is saddened to announce the death of Derek on 21st September 2016. Funeral to take place on 11th October, 1:30pm at St Giles and All Saints Church, Orsett. Followed by Committal at South Essex Crematorium. All of Derek's extended family and friends are welcome. Enquiries to Daniel Robinson and Sons, 01992 560890.

The world is a better place with people like Derek Sundberg in it. We have lovely memories of you Derek, in particular of your visits to us in Malahide. You are in our thoughts and prayers, and we are grateful to have known you. May God reward you for all your good works. Derek will be sorely missed - a giant of a man, a great orator with wit, humour and timing second to none. He has guided and nurtured many hundreds of students throughout his very successful teaching career. RIP Derek.
