WE held our AGM at our May meeting. Our new committee was chosen and a new president.

We also lost our secretary and two other associates. They are all continuing as Orsett WI members, but will, hopefully, have a more restful time.

Ann Eve was elected as our new president and we will decide at our next committee meeting the responsibilities of the rest of the committee.

Janet Church was presented with a bouquet of flowers to show how much we have all appreciated the work she has done.

Janet has been our president for nine years and has done the job splendidly. We discussed the lunch we had in the Fox Hound.

A very nice buffet lunch was laid on for us and we had a really good time. Lots of talking and laughter was done by everyone.

We have two speakers for our June meeting titled The Name Game. We meet in the village hall at 7.30pm on June 5. Visitors and new members are welcome.
