YOU know they say if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
However, United Airlines offered flights at zero dollars last week and, despite it being an unfortunate computer glitch, they honoured the offer.
Some lucky customers (and apparently no one knows how many) got a very good deal, saving hundreds of dollars on something that we usually only dream about.
Those sorts of dreams usually don’t come true, do they? The amazing deal, the incredible price, the unbelievable offer. But it shouldn’t stop us dreaming.
The Bible is full of dreams – in fact it is one of the ways God speaks to people.
Jacob, Joseph, Daniel, the wise men, they all had dreams and in their cases, they came true!
Our dreams tend to be a bit more prosaic; maybe more to do with winning the lottery or meeting Mr or Ms Right. But why not? Dreams sometimes turn into visions and vision inspires us.
On August 27 we remembered Martin Luther King, a man who “had a dream” that ultimately changed a nation.
So dream dreams, my friends. Re-imagine the future and meet with God!
