I WOULD like to reply to John Cogan’s letter (Gazette Opinion, October 18).
I agree the exhibition by Cogent re: an 800 dwelling development on green belt land at Corringham was no more than a ‘tick the boxes’ exercise.
It’s easy land to build on that gets them easy money – maximum profit and move on.
Everyone who actually lives here knows the infrastucture cannot sustain such a large development – the hospital, roads, traffic and police are a few of the concerns.
Please join our campaign to save Corringham green belt – we are local people battling big business!
Contact savecorringhamgreenbelt@outlook.com and see our Facebook page save ‘Corringhamgreenbelt’.
Together we can work to save the green belt – it’s not a done deal!
ANNE SANDU Lampits Lane, Corringham.
