A CHRISTMAS rock extravaganza is coming to light up the Thameside Theatre this holiday season.
An evening of rock ‘n’ roll will see three top performers pay tribute to three past legends with performances of a number of their greatest hits.
Marc Robinson and the Counterfeit Crickets will be first up, paying tribute to Buddy Holly with all the classics from ‘Blue Days Black Nights’ to ‘Raining in my Heart’.
Marc has performed at a number of venues, including the world famous London Palladium and Glastonbury Festival.
He has also performed for Sir Cliff Richard.
Next up is Gavin Stanley, who will perform a Billy Fury tribute on the 30th Anniversary of the death, with songs including ‘Jealousy’ and ‘Halfway to Paradise’ with a few fun Christmas songs thrown in as well.
Finally, Steve Halliday will pay tribute to the king of rock ‘n’ roll with authentic costume changes from the era and classics from ‘That’s alright mama’ to ‘Blue Blue Christmas’.
