THURROCK enjoyed plenty of fundraising Children in Need fun.
Just Learning Day Nursery in Chafford Hundred raised £75 as they dressed up in their onesies, made cupcakes and played games.
The youngsters at Manor Primary School, in Tilbury put on ‘Manor’s Got Talent’, showing off their skills with Year 5 pupil Pedro Dalzoto scooping top prize for his piano recital.
The children were also joined by special guest Pudsey Bear who, along with giving out the week’s Celebration Certificate Awards, watched on as teacher Dave Sansom had his legs waxed in front of the whole school, raising £190.
Thurrock Adult Community College raised another £188 as staff and volunteers wore their pyjamas into school.
Students also made cakes and sold a selection of snacks, including a homemade Pudsey cake.
Thanks to all who sent pictures into the paper.
