AN East Tilbury woman has been fined more than £2,000 for blasting out music and repeatedly breaching noise orders.
Lolita Mbaki, 27, of Queen Elizabeth Avenue, was fined £400 each for three offences of breaching a noise abatement order and was also ordered to pay costs of £1,006 to Thurrock Council.
She had been served a noise abatement order by Thurrock Council in May following a number of complaints from neighbours.
They were again summoned to the address on Friday, July 26, Saturday, July 27 and Wednesday, August 21 where they heard the order being breached.
Officers seized items including televisions, electronic games machines, CD players and speakers. All these items have been forfeit.
Mbaki was found guilty by Basildon Magistrates today, although she did not attend court.
