BRENTWOOD reality star Joey Essex proved his mettle once again in the latest bushtucker trials on 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'
Joey, 23, was chosen by the public to do both bushtucker trials in Sunday night's shows, including this year's series live challenge 'Critters Got Talent.'
Joey had to swim with underwater beasts as he hunted for joke punchlines, sing whilst his head was trapped in a tank with creepy crawlies, dance as he stood in fish guts and play piano music whilst covered in ants.
He won ten stars.
Earlier in the show he was chosen ahead of dancer Vincent Simone to take part in 'The Cavern of Claws', where he had to find stars whilst locked in an underground cave.
Joey spent ten minutes in the cave and found eight stars, meaning he won eight meals for his campmates.
He was joined in the cave by cockroaches, rats and other creepy crawlies and described the situation as 'not ream', a catchphrase he uses regularly on TOWIE.
Joey is odds on favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle.
