ROAD users face more travel misery on the A13 after further roadworks were announced.
Commuters looking to travel to Southend will be unable to use the Southend-bound on slip road at the Manorway roundabout leading to the A13 between 5am on Wednesday, December 4 to 5pm on Friday, December 6.
This will mean drivers will have to travel west on the A13, from the Manorway junction to the Orsett Cock roundabout before rejoining the the A13 via the Southend-bound carriageway of the A13.
The sliproad will be closed as it is being extended.
Road users are advised by J Murphy & Sons to plan their journey and allow extra time whilst the restrictions are in place.
The works will complete the works at the Manorway Junction, with it being widened to three lanes, instead of two, the installation of a new bridge, wider slip roads and traffic lights.
