COMIC Russell Brand has waded into the new Thames crossing debate by pleading with people to sign the petition against the proposals.
Grays born Brand has been on a break from social media in recent months after hitting the headlines a number of times last year with his online video show Trews.
In the video posted today, Brand said the plans would carve up green belt land and lead to more pollution and illness in Thurrock. He also said the plans were at the “behest” of DP World London Gateway.
