Harris Primary Academy has been highly rated by Ofsted following an inspection.
The school, which has 330 pupils and is on Mayflower Road in Chafford Hundred, was visited by an inspector on March 8 this year.
Following the inspection, the school was given a grade of 'Good', the second best grade a school can achieve in an Ofsted report.
In a letter, dated March 21, to the headteacher, Matthew Britt, Inspector Jo Coton praised the school, indicating that the school could achieve the top grade of 'Outstanding' in the next inspection.
She wrote: "The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.
"Based on the evidence gathered during this short inspection, I am of the opinion that the school has demonstrated strong practice and marked improvement in certain areas.
"This may indicate that the school is improving towards being outstanding."
The school was also given an SSAT award for being "one of the best performing schools in the country" earlier this month.
