Travellers on Blackshots Fields told to leave by Council
The travellers which have set up camp on Blackshots Field have been given a Direction to Leave notice from Thurrock Council.
Up to a dozen caravans have pitched up on the field in between the Blackshots roundabout and Impulse Leisure centre.
They have been there since last weekend and were reported to the council on March 26.
An order to leave was handed to them on March 28 by Thurrock Council and they have said if this order is not obeyed, they make a court application to have them forcibly removed from the site.
