Body found in fishing lake in Corringham
A man's body has been found in a fishing lake.
Emergency services descended on a fishing lake near Church Road, Corringham, at roughly 7.35am today.
A large cordon remains in place following the discovery of the body.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called at around 7.35am today, Wednesday, May 15, following the discovery of a man’s body in a fishing lake in Church Road, Corringham.
"We have attended the scene and a cordon remains in place.
"The man's death is currently being treated as non-suspicious and our enquiries are ongoing."
