GRAYS School Media Arts College held its annual presentation evening at the Civic Hall when current and former students were rewarded for their efforts which included the presentation of GCSE certificates and the awarding of special trophies for individual success.
More than 400 guests attended the evening and listened to guest speaker Lloyd Scott MBE who described how he has raised £4million to date for leukaemia and cancer charities by walking a marathon in a heavy antique diving suit and, on another occasion, in a full suit of armour weighing 100lbs, dragging a 200lb dragon!
A special mention was made to Iona Harries who achieved a maximum score of 200 in her Geography GCSE!
