A MAN was threatened inside a car by a man with a weapon, believed to be a gun.
Police have today appealed for help to track the suspect, in the "targeted attack", following the drama in Lodge Lane, Grays, just before 11pm last night.
Our pictures show the aftermath of the incident which saw the silver Lexus accelerate into a garden wall and badly damage other cars on the driveway.
Worried residents told the Gazette how there was a gun left at the scene. Police have not elaborated on the weapon involved.
A police spokesman said: "We were called last night before 11pm, following a collision between a car and a house in Lodge Lane, Grays.
"We believe shortly before the collision a man had met with the occupants of a silver Lexus and a struggle ensured. The man threatened those in the car with a weapon.
"He then left the scene in another vehicle.
"No-one was seriously injured.
"We are treating this a targeted incident."
