Police are no longer looking for a man in connection with a vehicle being driven at a police officer.
Essex Police say they no longer wish to speak to Terence Purkiss.
A 33-year-old man from Grays has been arrested.
The man was arrested this morning, on suspicion of GBH with intent, and is currently in custody.
The force has thanked the public for their "help and support" in the investigation.
