Thurrock foodbank has thanked the team at a supermarket after being overwhelmed with vital food donations.
Morrisons on London Road, Grays, has a donation collection point situated in the store where shoppers can make donations to the foodbank.
After just four days of collecting donations, the foodbanks operations manager, Peter Newall, found them overflowing again.
Thanking Morrisons for their help with donations, the foodbank said: “Thank you to the staff and customers who have donated and to Tarnya, the community champion, who prepares the bags.
“Your generosity and kindness is humbling.”
