A new Disney café has opened inside a Primark in south Essex.
The café opened inside the Lakeside store earlier this morning (Thursday, October 14) and is only the second of its kind in the UK.
It is also only the second Disney café based outside Disney resorts.
Described as a pop-up café, the site comes three years after the successful launch if a similar branch in a Primark in Birmingham.
And of course, the café comes with a full Disney themed menu filled with hot and cold drinks.
The café is accessed through a Mickey Mouse themed entrance and is based on the first floor of the shop.
Primark is also adding a special home section to its store at Lakeside.
It forms part of an expansion of 25 Primark shops in the coming months.
Bosses say the new range will offer the latest interior design trends at “pocket-friendly prices.”
Speaking about the expansion of Primark, trading director Paul Baldwin said “There has been exceptional growth within our home and lifestyle department over the past 18 months as people have spent more time in their home.
"Naturally we wanted to keep up with this growing customer demand and expand our offering into small furniture and several other new categories.”
He added: “Delivering extended ranges in newly created spaces within selected stores will help establish Primark as a growing destination not only for great home and lifestyle accessories at amazing prices but also for larger statement and functional pieces to complete a room.”
