A TEENAGER is due to stand trial after allegedly carrying a knife near a leisure park.
Danny Di Rosa, 18, of Argyll Road, Grays, appeared at Southend Magistrates Court on October 11 charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
It is alleged that on September 11 in Festival Way, Basildon without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, he had in a public place, a black handled locking knife.
He denied the charged and it's been sent for trial to Basildon Crown Court on November 1.
