A TEENAGER has died following a crash in the early hours of this morning.
Essex Police confirmed a 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene following reports of a crash in East Tilbury.
The incident occurred at around 1:35am today, after a black Peugeot reportedly left Princess Margaret Road.
Emergency services attended the scene, but sadly the driver had died.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “A teenager has died following a collision in East Tilbury.
“Our officers were called to reports a black Peugeot 107 had left Princess Margaret Road at around 1.35am today (Wednesday 3 August).
“Emergency services attended but, sadly, the driver – a 19-year-old man – was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The road was closed so officers could investigate but it has now re-opened.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 80 of 3 August.”
