FORMER mayor Ian Harrison will continue to bring his experience to bear for the Tories after winning the Corringham and Fobbing seat again.
He finished well clear of his Labour rival, with the BNP in third.
Councillor Harrison said: "I'd like to thank all the voters because without them I wouldn't be here.
"It's been a very good result."
Labour's John Cecil said: "We fought a hard campaign, the good people of Corringham and Fobbing are very discerning. I'm very pleased that they have supported me."
