AS countless local bands in the area are all too aware, it's mighty hard to get a break, so we should celebrate and applaud the achievements of Stanford-le-Hope's unlikely alternative hip-hop sensations Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip as their debut album hits the shelves.
And we've got three to give away...
Having first come to prominence last year with their anthem Thou Shalt Always Kill' - one of XFM's most requested tracks of 2007 - they were the subject of a record label frenzy, and have landed on Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank's Sunday Best label for the release of their debut album 'Angles'.
Featuring the aforementioned single alongside several staples of their famed live show, 'Angles' showcases Scroob's righteous, razor-sharp rhymes, underpinned by Dan Le Sac's chunky beats and samples - with a fresh, individual style that marks them out from the crowd.
So, the album. Released on May 12 and no doubt profiled in HMV and their High Street and online competitors, but free here - if you can answer this teaser and you're one of the lucky three: WHICH BAND DO LE SAC AND PIP SAMPLE ON A LETTER FROM GOD TO MAN'?
Send me your answer by clicking here. All correct entries will go into a draw from which our three winners will be selected at random. Closing date for entries, Friday, June 6.
