DETECTIVES investigating a serious assault in Grays are appealing for the public’s help.
Essex Police has been called to Milton Road, Grays, following reports of a disturbance involving two men and that one was in possession of a knife.
The incident happened shortly after midnight on Saturday, February 18.
Officers attended and found a man, 30s, had sustained a serious arm wound that required hospital treatment.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remained in custody for questioning.
A spokesman from Essex Police said: "We’re asking anyone who was in the area prior to this time that may have information that will help us establish what led up to the assault, to call us.
