A boy has been rushed to hospital after a crash in a street near a south Essex primary school.
Ambulance crews received reports yesterday that a child had been injured in a crash in Gloucester Avenue, East Tilbury.
Paramedics were sent to the scene and a boy was taken to hospital following the incident.

The ambulance service has confirmed a child was taken to Basildon Hospital for "further assessment and care".
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: "One ambulance was sent to Gloucester Avenue, East Tilbury, yesterday (March 29) following reports that a child had been injured in a road traffic collision.
"A boy was transported to Basildon and Thurrock for further assessment and care."
