AN APPEAL for witnesses has been launched following an assault in Grays earlier this month.
Essex Police is calling on those who were near to Thurrock Council’s offices in New Road at around 12.30pm on August 3 to get in touch with any information.
It comes as a 27-year-old man from Basildon was reported to have assaulted a man in his 50s, which left the victim sustained a broken nose, facial injuries and had a tooth knocked out.
He was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and ABH and has since been released on bail until October 21.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/138332/23.”
