Drivers in south Essex will have 17 major road closures to watch out for over the next two weeks.

And six of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 17 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• A13, from 10pm September 18 to 5.30am September 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, Lane and carriageway closure for lamp column removal, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

• A282, from 10pm September 18 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 31 to junction 1A, Lane closures for inspections.

• A13, from 10pm September 19 to 5.30am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound, between the slips M25, junction 30, Lane and carriageway closure between the slps for improvement works.

• A13, from 10pm September 19 to 5.30am September 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 eastbound, junction A1306 to M25, junction 30, Lane and carriageway closure for improvement works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• A1089, from 10pm September 21 to 5am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1089 northbound, junction Tilbury to junction A13, Lane closure for debris clearance from Central res.

• A13, from 10pm September 21 to 6am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 eastbound to M25 J30 , Lane closures for lamp column lighting works.

• A1089, from 10pm September 21 to 5am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1089 southbound, junction A13 to junction Tilbury, Lane closure for debris clearance from Central res.

• A1089, from 11pm September 22 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound to A1089 Sourhbound, link road, Lane closure for vegetation works.

• A13, from 10pm September 23 to 6am September 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 westbound, junction 30 M25 exit slip road and M25 clockwise, junction 30 entry slip road for joint replacement, diversion via National Highways and Local authorities roads.

• A282, from 10pm September 25 to 5.30am September 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 31 to junction 1A, Lane closures for electrical works.

• A13, from 10pm September 25 to 5am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise and anticlockwise, junction 30, Lane closure for cyclical maintenance.

• A13, from 10pm September 25 to 6am September 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 31, Lane and exit slip road for CCTV works, diversion, junction 30 and Return.

• A13, from 10pm October 2 to 5.30am October 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound, junction A1012 to M25, junction 30, Lane closure for lamp column renewal works.

• A282, from 10pm October 2 to 5am October 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 31 to junction 1, Lane closures for structures works.

• A13, from 10pm October 2 to 5.30am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound, West tunnel to M25 Anticlockwise, slip closure for technology works, diversion via National Highways Network.

• A13, from 10pm October 2 to 5.30am October 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 eastbound, junction A306 to junction A126, Land and carriageway closure between the slips for Lamp column removal works, diversion Via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm October 2 to 5am October 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, Lane closure for repair of signal.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
