Two men have been charged as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs in Thurrock.

Harry Baldwin, 23, and Maddison Brickwood, 33, both of Stephenson Avenue, were arrested after anti-drug officers executed a warrant in Tilbury yesterday.

During the search, a knife, a quantity of cannabis, and a nitrous oxide canister were found.

Both individuals were arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

They are set to appear in Southend Magistrates' Court today.

The arrests and charges form part of an investigation into the supply of drugs in Thurrock, led by the Op Raptor West team and Op Orochi colleagues.

Det Sgt Mason Doyle said: “This is clearly a significant step forward in this investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Thurrock.

“Op Raptor and Op Orochi are working every day to identify people who we believe are involved in the supply of drugs.

“We don’t tolerate the sale of drugs in Thurrock. The supply of any illicit drugs causes harm in our communities and we’re determined to take action against those who we believe to be involved."
