KNIVES, cash and drugs have been seized after police raided a property and stopped two cars on a south Essex estate.
Police carried out a drugs raid at an address in Schoolfield Way, Grays, after multiple reports and pieces of intelligence on Sunday, September 29.
Officers also searched two vehicles after men who were suspects were stopped in separate vehicles outside of the home.
Inside the first vehicle, officers located more than £4,000 in cash and the man was also found to be in possession of a lock knife. He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Police also discovered 70 packs of cannabis inside the second vehicle as well as a lock knife, gloves and a balaclava on the second suspect.
This man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article, possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and going equipped to steal.
When officers entered the property, they found a telescopic police-style baton, two flick knives and more cannabis.
Two men found inside the property were also arrested, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and possession of banned weapons. One of the arrested men was wanted and has been recalled to prison.
