LAKESIDE is "gridlocked" while drivers face "severe delays" on the M25 this evening rush hour after a multi-vehicle crash.
Three lanes were closed on the M25 clockwise earlier this afternoon after the crash involving multiple vehicles on junction one of the motorway at Dartford.
Five miles of congestion built back into south Essex following the incident, with drivers facing delays of up to 45 minutes.
The lanes have since re-opened, however, delays remain in the area and at Lakeside's shopping centre and retail parks which motorists report is "gridlocked".
There are also severe delays of 26 minutes on the M25 clockwise which are increasing between junction 29 for the A127 and Dartford Crossing.
