FOLLOWING the success of their recent Blues, Queen and Abba themed styled concerts Grays Town Band are having a Rat Pack concert on Saturday, November 29 starting at 7pm.
Dave Honeywell, musical director of the Band said: “Our Queen and Blues concerts went down very well and so we decided to have a Rat Pack night.
“The success of Robbie Williams ‘Swing when you’re winning’ album really reminded everyone how great the music of the Rat Pack is so we will be doing some of the music from that album as well as other classic hits from Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr.
The band has really enjoyed practicing the music and I am sure everyone will really enjoy the concert.
“We have also decided to make the concert free and everyone is welcome.
“This concert really is not one to be missed so if you’ve never been to a brass band concert before or are a regular make sure you make this one.”
The concert will be held at Grays Town Band’s band hall on the corner of John and William streets, Grays.
