WE know Britain’s got talent but has Thurrock?
The Stanford Forum is about to provide the answer with borough wannabes battling it out at this year’s “Thurrock’s Got Talent” evening on Saturday May 9 at The Crooked Billet in Stanford-le-Hope.
To competition’s proceeds will go towards the Stanford Music Festival (SMF).
It is open to singers, dancers’ comics and speciality acts.
Musician Steve Henderson, who formally with The Heaters but now lines up with Hybrid 7, is one of the organisers for the event.
He said: “The depth and quality of talent in Thurrock never ceases to amaze me. Ceyhan winner of the last “Thurrock’s Got Talent” will be opening the evening.”
There is a prize for the winner and the chance to appear on stage at the SMF.
