The big picture: Comedy adventure starring Will Ferrell as has-been scientist Dr Rick Marshall who gets sucked into a space-time vortex with his smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and redneck survivalist Will (Danny McBride). With few skills and no weapons, the trio find themselves in an alternate universe full of prowling dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures. Director Brad Silberling previously made Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events .
