THIS week saw the current edition of the Thameside Theatre’s Event magazine drop through my front door detailing the exciting range of acts that are to perform there over the coming months.
There are psychic evenings, swing nights and not forgetting the ever popular Christmas pantomime.
I am writing this letter to ask residents to support our local theatre and, when considering a night out, please take the time to see if there is anything on at the Thameside.
I am sure many residents overlook this venue when looking for entertainment, when they have a little treasure on their own doorstep. I realise times are hard for everybody, but we need to ensure we support our theatre in these hard times. – CLLR LYNN WORRALL, council cabinet member for communities, culture and leisure.
