A HORSE lover from Chadwell St Mary is launching her own equestrian themed website.
Mother-of-one, Sarah Ozorio, 21, of Ruskin Road, has been riding horses since she was ten and when she had her 18-month-old son, Conor, she wanted to be able to work, but not be apart from him.
Then the idea of creating Horsebiz, an online horse themed marketplace for people to buy and sell anything equestrian themed was born.
Sarah, who lives with partner Peter Staley, 27, said: “The idea started when I had the baby and I wanted to be able to do something from home and not have to put my son in a nursery.
“The website is a place people can advertise their horse or pony for sale or a place where people can look for horses or ponies to buy.
“People with equestrian businesses can also advertise their websites and the site will also have a regularly updated news feed, blog and forum so members can talk to one another and share information.
“One thing I am doing differently is that I am offering equestrian charities free advertising and features.” Sarah, who also works part-time as an administrator in London, explained she hoped the website would help combine her love for horses while being able to be at home with her toddler son.
Although she does not have own horses any more, Sarah said still keeps her hobby alive by riding friends’ horses in Linford on a regular basis.
If you would like to log on to the website, the address is www.horsebiz.co.uk – it is set to be launched in early January.
