TWO men have been charged following a fight at The Inn on the Green in Stanford-le-Hope in the early hours of Saturday (January 8).

James Gray, 20, from Elgar Gardens, Tilbury has been charged with GBH, wounding with intent, violent disorder, driving a motor-vehicle dangerously, driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, use of a motor-vehicle without third part insurance,failing to stop when required to do so by an officer, three charges of ABH and failing to surrender to police/court bail.

Ashley Smith, 20, from Feenan Highway from Tilbury was charged with violent disorder, GBH with intent and ABH.

These men were due to appear in court today.

A 23-year-old woman from Tilbury was arrested and later bailed to February 14, a 20-year-old man from Tilbury was arrested and later bailed to February 14, a 17-year-old boy from Stanford-le-Hope was arrested but later released without charge and an 18-year-old woman from Tilbury was arrested and later bailed to February 14.
