A TEENAGER facing a murder charge was paid cash for performing sex acts with a much older man.
Chelmsford Crown Court heard how Priscilla Scamp received between £10 and £20 when she visited the man's home in Grays.
A jury were told how retired Bulent Selen would see Scamp asking people for money when he went to his local paper shop in Purfleet.
He felt sorry for her and offered her a job as his cleaner but Mr Selen said Scamp would offer him sexual services in return for money.
Scamp, 18, of Centurion Way, Purfleet, also produced a medical ultrascan photogrph of twins and claimed to Mr Selen that she was pregnant.
Mr Selen denied making comments to her suggesting he wanted sex.
Scamp is accused of killing 59-year-old Daniel Thomas at his flat in Darnley Road last April.
A post-mortem examination revealed his throat had been cut and he had been stabbed up to 20 times.
Scamp denies the charge and claims she was acting in self defence when Mr Thomas tried to rape her.
