THURROCK’s budding young business men and women have been rewarded at a ceremony at the Thameside Theatre.
The Next Top Boss competition, which started in September last year, comprised of four challenges to test the business acumen of teams of 16 to 19-year-olds in the borough.
Gold medal winning Paralympian Danny Crates presented Special Achievement awards to Kehinde Oluwadare, Amy Oxborrow, Sam Pursey, Adam Wilson and Conner Sach. Arriba were awarded Team of the Year.
The entries, in 15 categories, were judged by top figures in the community, including business and council leaders.
Thurrock Council chief executive Graham Farrant said: “This year’s graduates are clearly up to the challenge and I wish them well for the future.”
