HOCKEY: THURROCK bounced back from two loses to win 2-1 against Upminster’s second string at Palmer’s.
The first half was a relatively quiet affair and ended goalless. The away side broke the deadlock midway through the second half somewhat against the run of play but Thurrock managed to grab an equaliser when Tommy Ing converted an short corner.
Shortly after Thurrock grabbed the winner through Jak Taylor who was put through on goal by Declan Millane who lifted the ball over the last two defenders and allowed Jak Taylor to run through and to score.
