THURROCK returned to winning ways with a 34-27 triumph against Ruislip in London One North.
The victory kept T’s fourth in the table and delighted their director of rugby Dean White.
“Ruislip were a tough nut to crack at the weekend and they did really well with the ball in hand but our attack at times was also top drawer,” said White.
“We always seem to have high-scoring games against Ruislip and I think it's testament to the way both sides approach the game.
“I was really impressed with some of our attacking play but we still have some work to do on our defence.
“We have to strike a balance of fine attacking play backed up with a great defence.”
Thurrock’s victory completed a successful afternoon for the club who have now also agreed another deal with head coach David Mobbs-Smith.
“We had a great day on Saturday with all four senior sides winning and it just shows how we are growing as a club,” said White.
“I am also happy to announce that we agreed terms with our head coach David Mobbs-Smith and have extended his contract for another year.
“I'm very pleased that we have managed to keep David at Thurrock because he fits into my vision for the club and is really developing the side, “I'm looking forward to another year working alongside him.”
