Thurrock made it three games unbeaten after an 18-5 victory over Sevenoaks in Division One South.
Tries from Jake Barrand, Joss Nunn and Reece Durrance ensured the win although it was Sevenoaks that registered the first points of the afternoon.
Tom Worsfield got Thurrock on the board with a penalty before a well worked score put the hosts ahead.
Scrum half Alex Jones sent a fine kick over the top which Barrand ran onto and barrelled his way over the line out wide.
Worsfeld missed a difficult conversion but Thurrock remained ahead at the break.
The next points didn’t arrive until 20 minutes from the end of the clash.
Nunn dotted down to take Thurrock onto 13 points, although Worsfield was again off target from the tee.
Durrance scored the final try of the day with five minuets to go, despite carrying a knock for much of the match.

Thames Rugby Club took on Eton Manor in a big match towards the summit of Shepherd Neame Essex Merit Division 4.
But there was a clear winner, Thames running out 45-24 winners in a high-scoring encounter.
Mark O’Connell got the ball rolling after picking up as deep diagonal to touch down. Rhys Dell added the extra points.
Manor levelled the scores only for Kyle Munro to restore the advantage.
Thames made the most of a missed Eton penalty to break - Liam Smith feeding Riaan Booysen who played the ball back to Smith to score.
Two tries before half-time made it 19-17 at the break and anyone’s game.
But scores from Max Clarke, Dell and James Going all but secured the points for Thames after the break. Clarke got the final points of the afternoon.
