RUGBY UNION: Thurrock T-Birds continued their impressive form in the Championship South as they continue to strive for top spot in the standings.
T’s beat Henley 27-3 in Oxfordshire, taking an early lead in the encounter thanks to a Sarah Dyche try.
Leading 10-3 at half-time the match was very much in the balance until the final 10 minutes.
Dyche claimed her second close to the posts with Robyn Cook converting and the visitors were to claim a bonus point.
Siobhan Longdon-Hughes smashed through the defence to touch down wide on the left with Heidi Smith running in the vital bonus point score.
