TILBURY were condemned to an 18th Isthmian North defeat of the season, after suffering a 4-0 reverse at Potters Bar Town.
Joe Keith’s side made the trip to Potters Bar having not lost in more than a month.
But Chris Doyle gave the home side an eighth minute advantage by finding the back of the net.
The Dockers fell further behind as Michael Murray converted from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
Sean Grace gave Tilbury a mountain to climb as he grabbed Potters Bar’s third goal of the encounter with 13 minutes to play.
And Doyle completed his brace six minutes later, as he ensured the Dockers would suffer a heavy defeat on the road.
As a result, Tilbury are 17th in the Isthmian North standings, while Potters Bar – who have been hit with a deduction of three points – strengthened their hold on a play-off place.
Tilbury: Bogard, Odelusi, Gleed, Norman, Salami, Turpin, Newby (James 68’), Carlile (Jaggs 75’), Vyse (Little 75’), Anderson, Aromolaran
